The Ladies of Charity is a support group that provides encouragement and assistance to those parishioners experiencing the hardships of life. The Ladies of Charity was canonically approved on December 8, 1617 on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Hence the Feast of the Immaculate Conception is the patron feast day of Ladies of Charity. Our members are:
Membership is open to women 18 years of age and older. New members are welcomed annually in April at an Investiture Mass with the Bishop at St. Paul Cathedral.
Duties and Responsibilities
Meetings are usually the second Saturday of the month at 10:00 AM. Meeting locations may vary. It is suggested to contact Pat Muic (phone and email address below) to confirm meeting location.
Homebound members of the Parish should call the Parish Office at 412-751-0663 to make arrangements to receive Holy Communion at home.
